Would you believe we waited until TWO days before our daughter arrives to finish the children’s room? It wasn’t hard to decide the theme as I wanted something light, bright, and gender neutral. As I started searching for different pieces and decor, it seems like there were so many items with animals on them whether they were safari/jungle, woodland, or farm animals. It wasn’t long before I simply started collecting pieces and this came together.
I’m so happy with how it turned out, especially because each piece was very affordable! Luckily we saved a lot of things from Royce so we didn’t have to fully transform the room. The three pieces above the crib are from Hobby Lobby while the other sign is from TJ Maxx (purchased in stores). The crib sheets are from a set we purchased from Burlington but we ended up using the comforter for Royce’s toddler bed (pictured above).
Since most of the items aren’t available online anymore, I’ve linked similar decor pieces below that are in stock. I hope this gives you a little inspiration if you’re wondering how to decorate a gender neutral room! Next post you’ll see will probably be an announcement of our daughter’s birth (and name!). Wish us luck!
